5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Works great, September 26, 2008 By  Bubba (Potsdam, New York United States) - See all my reviews My dogs are about 60 lbs and I wouldn't say they are "very aggressive" but they are sometimes wanting to be free of restraints to run and play so they often break the thinner cables rated for pets up to 100 lbs. These cables have been great at keeping them contained, just watch for wear on the plastic coating because once it splits the cable inside will rust and compromise the strength of the cable. This review is from: Petmate X-Large Super Dog Tieout Cable, 15-Feet (Misc.) After only a few weeks of light use the bolt and washer that attach the swivel loop to the pulley loosened so much that it fell off. Luckily I was there and my dog comes when called. For now I have the downline clipped right to the skyline without a pulley. I'm going to buy a bolt with a locking nut to replace the original. The cable is holding up, which is what I was hoping for as my dog has broken everything that I purchased locally. I do recommend using a coiled downline for safety, it greatly reduces the risk of the cable getting wrapped around body parts.
